Getting there
I-890 west from I-90, 20 minutes to downtown Schenectady. Free two-hour parking on State Street, metered elsewhere at $1 an hour. CDTA Route 905 (BusPlus) runs from Albany downtown every 15 minutes, $1.50, about 45 minutes total. Amtrak from Albany-Rensselaer to Schenectady is $9, 20 minutes, dropping you two blocks from Proctors.
